Through my practice specialising in figurative wire sculptures, I imagine a dystopian future where human life has deteriorated, and robotic figures move through a world slowly reclaimed by nature. These metal beings, once symbols of control and technology, now exist in quiet interaction with the environment with plants and fungi growing through them, I create a world untouched by human interference.
This body of work explores the lasting impact of humanity on the planet and reflects on the human experience in the face of ecological collapse.
Through material, form, and narrative, I ask: What traces do we leave behind? And in our absence, what might thrive?
